Youthful aging with Isagenix, featuring Dawn Davis

Youthful aging with Isagenix, featuring Dawn Davis

This is my story and why I will always use Isagenix products:
In my 20’s I took my health for granted. I was a heavy smoker, drank a lot and never ate healthy. I don’t think at that time I even knew what healthy was, and exercise….forget it! When I hit my early 30’s something clicked, and I knew it was time to turn it around. I went out and bought dumbbells and exercise DVD’s. I started exercising every day, I started studying fitness and nutrition and got certified as a personal trainer. I had a burning desire to be a healthy person and to help others become healthy as well.

For years my friends would tell me that I should either be a trainer or a Consultant for a supplement company, I wanted to but never found the right opportunity.
As I reached my 40’s, I still had a lot of vigor and loved working out. At age 44 my workouts started to change when I found Crossfit. Boy did I love Crossfit, it was fun and it became my passion. At the age of 45 I was in the best shape of my life.
But then, a year later it all came crashing down. I injured my neck which resulted in having surgery. I now have a plate and 8 screws in my neck. Soon after that I had low back surgery, 6 months after that I had a bulging disc. Through each of these injuries, I would just start becoming active again and… boom... something else.

Looking for a conservative treatment for my bulging disc, I met with a chiropractor that used decompression treatments. It looked promising and I hoped I could avoid another spinal surgery. His plan consisted of a series of treatments, which also included high quality nutrition for healing. It was at this time I was introduced to Isagenix. In the beginning I was skeptical. I researched the company and the products, and was amazingly surprised. The product B included some things I was already using, but it also included a full spectrum of natural antioxidants for protecting telomeres while targeting the source of accelerated aging, such as oxidative stress. In addition these antioxidants help protect the body from harmful free radicals that can contribute to poor health. I was really excited because I’ve never seen this kind of combination before! Since then I’ve seen national news stories that featured Isagenix and doctors who support it.

When I started using the vitamins I noticed better mental clarity, and more energy. Through my years of using Isagenix, I expanded into doing a 30 day program and continued on with various products. Ionix Supreme, Cleanse for Life, Ageless Essentials with Product B and the Isalean Pro Shakes are my constants. I believe it’s helped my immunity and how my body deals with stress. I also feel, that I recover quicker from workouts and that it has helped my body in maintaining muscle mass as I’m aging. Thinking back to what my friends used to say about me working for a health and wellness company, well…. I’ve found my company! I have seen many testimonials and heard the results from my friends. As I’m growing older, my desire to stay healthy and help my body defy age becomes increasingly important to me, so now I use the Isagenix Healthy Aging System.

A couple of key facts:
1. Isagenix seeks out the best ingredients for all of our products and has high standards for quality testing.

2. Our protein: Our protein comes from cows in New Zealand that are grass fed, not treated with any hormones, antibiotics or steroids. Our protein is also un-denatured. Un-denatured protein is a high quality protein that according to studies outside of Isagenix, can boost immunity and levels of the master antioxidant glutathione. There are many studies out there that will tell you the benefits of Glutathione and diseases related to deficiencies.

Our proteins do not contain any gluten, soy, GMO’s, artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. Our shakes are high quality, clean nutrition that include digestive enzymes for better absorption.

3. The cleanse for life and cleanse days: Our cleanse days consist of a cellular level cleanse for life drink that is all natural antioxidants and plant botanicals aimed at supporting the body in releasing toxins. Our cleanse days are combined with intermittent fasting. There are many studies outside of Isagenix listing the benefits, and the hormonal responses that take place during short fasts and how the increase in fat burn occurs. Isa Snacks and Isadelights are allowed on cleanse days to avoid blood sugar crashes, and there are other protocols to fit individual needs. We want cleanse days to be a good experience, with optimal results.

4. Ionic Supreme, my personal favorite, is a drink with stress adaptogen herbs. I use it faithfully every day!

A lean, vibrant, balanced body starts with the powerful nutritional foundation of the core products we call the pillars of health. These pillars: Isalean Shake, Cleanse for Life, Ionix Supreme and Ageless Essentials with Product B offer complete foods, natural botanicals and proprietary blend of antioxidants that provide vital support to combat the effects of toxicity, obesity, stress and aging.

That was a brief description of our core healthy aging products. We also have a brain and sleep formula that go well with these products. There are a few different packs and I can help you customize a system that will work for you.
For the month of March, I am waiving the membership fee (best pricing and other perks throughout the year) and shipping! It’s a great time to get going with us and see how we can help transform your life

Do Your Customers Recognize Your Voice? By Sue Henry

Do Your Customers Recognize Your Voice? By Sue Henry

On our dairy farm, we use white 5-gallon buckets to carry feed and water to some of our young livestock.

Newborn calves learn quickly that when we show up with white buckets, they have milk to drink. As they are weaned, they learn that the white bucket carries grain with molasses – a very yummy treat. As we carry the white buckets, we whistle a specific tune. The livestock learn that the arrival of the white bucket is systematic and predictable.

Once weaned, we move them to a different building. Herding a group of calves from a familiar place to a one they haven’t been to before can create chaos with animals running in all directions!

The most effective way to move them is to have them to follow us… but that will only occur if they trust us. Using white buckets, we pour small amounts of grain along the path we want them to follow. We whistle the tune and gently hit the white buckets together. Because they trust us, they slowly make their way down the right path.

A couple of years ago, our neighbor called around midnight on a crisp October night and said our dairy cattle were in his cornfield. Cattle can destroy a cornfield very quickly between what they eat and what they knock down as they walk through it. Chasing the cows would only drive them further away and cause more destruction because they wouldn’t understand what we were trying to do. Keeping them (and us) calm was critical.

We filled several white buckets with grain, loaded them into the pickup and drove a mile to the edge of the cornfield. The corn was about 6 feet tall. We could hear cows munching on the corn and stomping on the stalks. We got out of the truck and whistled for our cows.

Immediately there was silence. We whistled again. Within seconds, the cows started working their way out of the cornfield toward us. We poured small amounts of feed in a systematic pattern on the gravel road toward our farm. Because the cattle recognized the buckets and whistle, they trusted us. My husband walked down the road, carrying the white buckets and continued to whistle periodically. All 75 cows came out of the cornfield, walked down the road behind him and followed him right into a pasture next to the barn.

How does this simple farm story relate to our business and customers or clients?

Every business has “white buckets” and a sound. The question is: What have we filled our buckets with and what sound do others associate with us?

Do we deliver a consistent message systematically and predictably? Is it the message we want to deliver?

Do your customers or clients feel that any of these are included in your company’s “white bucket”? Do they recognize your “voice”?

1. Give a sincere, consistent message to your clients and customers that you truly care about them.

2. “How can I help you?” is more than a phrase – it’s the way you live your life and do business. You listen and respond to your customers.

3. When you share thoughts and opinions, your customers recognize and trust what you say – systematically and predictably. Do they follow you because they trust you?

4. You say thank you and mean it.

5. When you attempt to upsell a client or customer, it’s because it will truly be a good fit for them and their business… not just a boost your bottom line. If they can’t tell the difference right away, they trust you enough to follow your advice.

6. You know what message you want to deliver and it’s delivered consistently in your networking, business, and personal activities.

Your “white buckets” are filled with YOUR personal values, attitudes, and actions. Do your values and habits attract others toward you – systematically and predictably? If your customers or clients stray, do they recognize your voice and come back?

When you show genuine interest in helping others, your white buckets will be filled with the qualities, attitudes, and actions that will grow your business - systematically and predictably!
